RapidShare – 4Shared – 4Shared (same version with Russian T9 input)

I want to share updated ROM for Iolite (HTC touch cruise 2) devices.This ROM is based on official ROM 1.11.707.1. It includes a Windows Mobile 6.1 latest version – CE OS 5.2.21055, Build 21055.1.6.8. Manila is updated to latest build for WM6.1 – 1.2.1913.1530 (get more skins here). As soon as WM 6.5.1 gets stable, i’ll start working on it.

Some Highlighted Features:
It includes XDA_UC for customization.
NETCF is updated to 3.5.7283
NETCFv35.Messages.EN.wm
SqlCeMobile is updated to 3.5.5386
“Customize Hardware buttons” tweak is applied
2_Way_Recording fix is preinstalled, install your favorite recorder and record you calls
ROM is compressed with LZX compression – you get about 387 MB storage space with it.
ROM PagePool is set to 16 MB – it takes some RAM, but device operates faster.
Cache settings are tweaked for faster SDCard access.

How to flash?

Please read and understand Flashing your Iolite Rom before starting to flash your Iolite.

1. Follows the instruction on how to flash a custom rom and Hard-SPL the Device(once only).
2. Download and extract Iolite_WM6.1_21055_WWE_XDA_UC_v1.0.rar.
3. Customize XDA_UC folder (see below)
4. Copy XDA_UC folder to your storage card. (I connect my device to PC as “Disk Drive” and use Total Commander, then reconnect in ActiveSync mode).
5. Run CustomRUU.exe to begin the flashing process.
6. On the second boot XDA_UC will start (see attached XDA_UC_begin.png). Click OK.
7. It will work in background and install any cabs you have in XDA_UC and XDA_UC\SD folders on your storage card. It takes about 4 minutes on my device, don’t interrupt it, don’t reboot your device, just wait.
   Wait till it shows you final message. (see attached XDA_UC_end.png). Click YES to reboot.
8. Done.
