Here comes another device Acer F1 under the 1Ghz Processor bracket, all set to release in October 2009, another one for Windows Phone OS, but this time from Acer. Well its unlikely for an Acer to be a popular Handset Company but here is a reason why this can happen now. The Acer F1 will be priced under $500 or somewhat less than Rs. 25,000. Which is a great surprise in terms of price as the same power from other devices comes at a much higher price than this.

So whats else is special about this handset that makes it a nice and decent buy. Well apart from the 1Ghz Processor it sports a 3.8” 480×800 resolution Display, 3G, a 5Mp Camera and will be run by Windows Phone OS 6.5.
Other features include:
- 3.8 inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels
- HSDPA 7.2Mbps
- GPS
- 512Mb ROM, 256Mb ROM
- Accelerometer
- Wi-Fi
- 3.5mm headset jack
- FM radio
- 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash
The Acer F1 benefits from the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, which enhances interaction between user and device. It provides widgets for customising the device specific to your requirements and includes the new version of Internet Explorer, which enables more tasks to be performed at one time.
